Prof. Dr. Sa'ad B. Malik

Prof. Dr. Sa'ad B. Malik received his early education at Aitchison College Lahore and graduated in medicine from King Edward Medical College Lahore in 1977. He completed postgraduate training in psychiatry in the United Kingdom, passing the DPM and MRC Psych examinations in 1983.

He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1999 and the FCPS by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in 2003. A full professor of psychiatry since 1996, he has served at major medical institutions and trained thousands of medical students and doctors.

Alongside his clinical and academic work, Prof. Malik is Founder and President of MIND Organization, a charity providing psychiatric clinics in underserved areas. According to his professional biography, MIND has delivered free psychiatric care to more than 1.5 million people.

His professional biography describes 47 years in private psychiatric practice and numerous publications in national and international journals. His present interests include positive mental health, on which he conducts workshops, and the relationship between religion and mental health.
